Who We Are
|
Together, we can make a difference in
the lives of our homeless animals.
And remember, even if you can
only help one, you might not think you
made a big difference, but you sure
did make a big difference to that one
that you helped!
We are actively seeking assistance from
the community and from rescue organizations
to secure ‘forever’ homes for all eligible
pets, and promote responsible pet ownership.

Our mission
is to take care of those animals already
born by placing them in loving homes
to spend the rest of their lives, and
preventing more animals from being born
in the future through low/no cost spay/neuter
programs and a program for feral cats
called Trap/Neuter and Return.
We have many volunteer positions
available.

The PCSO Animal Control
Section currently partners
with 66 non-profit rescue
organizations.
Beginning October 1,
2007, through September
30, 2008, 721 pets have
been placed as a result
of these partnerships.
We plan to expand those
resources.
